Analyze simulation results

The simulation analysis interface offers an intuitive way to visualize your simulation results. Explore key insights from your simulations, identify trends, analyze performance metrics and compare different simulation scenarios using different widgets.

You can visualize simulation results using the Table and Heatmap widgets. You can add additional table and heatmap widgets to focus on different outputs and analyze specific aspects of your simulation and duplicate them comparison purposes. You can also rename widgets to reflect the data they’re visualizing and to keep things organized.

Any changes you make to widgets — whether applying filters, changing output visualization, adding new widgets, duplicating, renaming, or deleting them — are only visible to you. These updates are personal and won’t affect what your collaborators see in the project.

To access simulation results:

  1. In the header, click Menu and select Simulations.

  2. Click the simulation name, or click and select View results.

This opens the Simulation analysis interface.

  1. Show or hide the Simulation analysis panel.

  2. Add widgets.

  3. Rename, duplicate and delete widgets.

Add widgets

You can add as many widgets as you like.

  1. In the Simulation analysis panel, click .

  2. In the Choose a widget pop-up, select a widget.

The widget will be added to the list of widgets in the Simulation analysis panel.

Rename widgets

Giving widgets clear, descriptive names can make it easier to identify and manage them.

  1. In the Simulation analysis panel, click next to the widget and select Rename.

  2. In the dialog box that opens, give the widget a name then click Rename.

Duplicate widgets

The duplicated widget will appear with the same name as the original, followed by a number — for example, Table (1) — allowing you to easily differentiate it from the original.

  • In the Simulation analysis panel, click next to the widget and select Duplicate.

Delete widgets

Deleting a widget is permanent and can’t be undone.

  1. In the Simulation analysis panel, click next to the widget and select Delete.

  2. In the dialog box that opens, click Delete to confirm.
